Norton Protects MACS

Previously, I mentioned that there was no need for anti-virus software to protect MACS but apparently Symantec has made one anyway. With all the malicious behavior going on in the web today, no operating system is safe from the viruses lingering out on the web today.

Symantec on Monday introduced Norton AntiVirus Dual Protection for Mac. It costs $69.95 (that price includes a one-year subscription for virus updates).

The new software package combines Norton AntiVirus 2008 for Windows with Norton AntiVirus 11 for Mac. It’s intended for users of Intel-based Macs who have both Mac OS X and Windows running on their computers.
