Think again, for Macs are once again in the sights of hackers who may have lost taste of Windows based pc’s for now. Attacks are being reported and Apple has been forced to issue an update to their initial set of definitions to combat the series of brute force attacks. Attacks normally enter through the internet from infected sites that do seem legitimate.
Being a rarity, attacks on Mac’s do not normally make headlines for they are not as numerous as regular PC’s but the latest attacks have been quite persistent and is keeping Apple busy for the moment to prevent further spread of the virus/malware.
